Pacific Women’s Weaving Circle. Sunday 12 November 2023


FOR MĀORI & PACIFIC ISLAND WOMEN ONLY. Redlands Centre for Women, Cleveland. Sun 12 Nov. 11AM – 1PM. Learn to weave an arm band, which can be adapted to make a smaller bracelet, napkin holders or earrings with weaving artists Ranu James (PNG-Australian) and Maryann Talia Pau (Samoan-Australian). Cost: $80. Includes materials.

Venue information:

Redlands Centre for Women. 120 Shore St N, Cleveland QLD 4163. Free onsite parking available.

Program for the day:

11Am – 1PM – Learn to weave a simple arm band which you can adapt to create napkin holders, bracelets, earrings etc.

We’ll also have extra materials to make another coaster from the last workshop, time permitting.

Suitable for adults.

We run other workshops where children are welcome (minimum 7 years old). An adult must accompany any attending children and help to assist them in their weaving project.

This would also be a great gift for mum, for a girlfriend or as a birthday gift.

Refunds/exchange: In the event that you are sick or can no longer attend the workshop, please notify us no later than 24hrs before the workshop for a refund or to book into another workshop.
